About Me

Hello, my name is Tracy Armstrong, LMT owner of Featherock Therapeutic Touch, LLC.   I am a life-long resident of New England with roots in the northwest corner of Connecticut. Since the age of five I knew I wanted to be a massage therapist.  It was at this early age I was inspired by my mother.  She worked nights to support us and when she came home from work, she would ask me to rub her shoulders.  It was then that I witnessed how the power of touch could relax her after a stressful shift and knew from that point forward I wanted to become involved in the healing arts.

I spent most of my career working for numerous health and corporate organizations while maintaining my passion for the ideology of healing through the power of touch.  In 2016 while attending The Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington I began working at A Healing Trail in Harwinton, Connecticut. Shortly after my licensure I decided to build my own dream.

In February 2018 I opened my home studio in New Hartford, Connecticut. Set back off the road in a pastoral setting is my home residence, studio, a free-standing barn which functions as an additional massage space and an ever-evolving outdoor gazebo where I offer outdoor seasonal services.

Here, I have created the perfect space to let go of all the stress from day to day life. Through the power of touch, I am able to help my clients decompress and alleviate chronic pain. By combining intuition with technical skill, I am able to provide a tailored service to my clients. Each massage is carefully planned out with the individuals needs and requests in mind, personalizing the experience.

My skill-set includes, Cupping, Ashiautsu, Reiki, Chakra Balancing, Crystal Therapy, Polarity Therapy, Aromatherapy and Acupressure, in addition to continuing my education on traditional massage services which include gentle relaxation, deep tissue, hot stone, sports therapy and pregnancy massage.

In my spare time when I’m not focusing on my career, I enjoy gardening, crafting, hiking and spending time with those I love. Additionally, I have created a line of custom-made homeopathic creams and oils that are tailored to my client’s needs.
